Evergreen Educational Consulting & Coaching
Supporting schools, districts, and organizations through professional learning, educational consulting, action research, and leadership development.
I believe learning has the power to change lives — not simply because it gives us more information, but because it helps us become more fully ourselves.
For more than two decades, my work has centered one question: How do we cultivate spaces where people can learn deeply, think critically, communicate courageously, and flourish together?

That question has shaped my journey as a teacher, professor, researcher, writer, facilitator, consultant, mother, and lifelong learner. It has led me into classrooms, universities, independent schools, community organizations, and conversations with educators, women, girls, and leaders who are all asking similar questions about learning, belonging, identity, and purpose.
Today, I continue that work through Homeplace — a home for conversations about learning, faith, writing, leadership, artificial intelligence, educational equity, community, and human flourishing. Whether you're a teacher, school leader, doctoral student, parent, writer, woman seeking community, or a young person discovering your voice, I hope you'll find a room where you feel welcomed, challenged, and encouraged.
Each organization serves a different community, but they share one belief: people flourish when they are invited into thoughtful conversations, meaningful relationships, and purposeful work.
Supporting schools, districts, and organizations through professional learning, educational consulting, action research, and leadership development.
Creating spaces where Black girls, women, and families experience belonging, leadership, creativity, and joyful community.
Helping writers, educators, doctoral students, and lifelong learners use writing as a tool for reflection, scholarship, healing, and growth.
And a growing community of learners who are committed to becoming thoughtful contributors to the world around them.
I am a follower of Jesus, a wife, and the mother of two remarkable daughters who continue to teach me about courage, curiosity, and joy.
Many of the questions I explore professionally are the same ones I wrestle with personally as I seek to steward my life, my relationships, and the gifts God has entrusted to me with wisdom and faithfulness. Homeplace is, in many ways, an extension of that journey.
Welcome Home.
Whether you've arrived looking for a speaker, a consultant, a workshop, a community, or simply a place to pause and think more deeply — I'm grateful you're here.
